Jordu Schell

Creature Designer

Jordu Schell is the owner and head designer of Schell Sculpture Studio and has been a prominent figure in the film and television industry since 1987. Renowned for his skills as a designer and sculptor, his credits include Avatar, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, 300, Hellboy, Aliens vs. Predator – Requiem, Men in Black, The Mist, Batman Returns, The X-Files Movie, Predator II, Galaxy Quest, Babylon 5 (for which he designed Emmy award-winning creature make-up and the first fully digital creature for television) and many more.


Jordu has shared his expertise worldwide through workshops and masterclasses at leading industry studios, including Industrial Light & Magic, Tippett Studio, Blur Studio, and Blizzard Entertainment.
